Pre-Registration

The Gloucester Blackhawks have Rep B teams at every age group, and will have an open try-out camp for players who are registered with Blackburn, Gloucester Centre or Leitrim Hockey Associations. For more information on the program please click on the About link above.

The tryout camp will begin as early as Sept 1st , 2008 for some levels. This year we require prospect players to pre-register. Pre-registration can done by mail or in person on August 27th starting at 18:30 or August 28th starting at 18:15 at Barrett Arena. The cost for the try-out camp is set at $75 for all levels.

Previous competitive players from the Gloucester Rangers or Blackhawks teams may not wear their team socks during the tryout process.

An evaluation session for Goaltenders will take place September 1.
A mandatory checking clinic for Peewee prospects will occur during the evening of Sept 2.

There will be an information session on August 28 at Barrett arena to introduce the coaches and provide information about the upcoming year.

Atom/Peewee 7 PM
Bantam/Midget 7:45 PM

Prospects who register by August 28th will receive a jersey to keep as part of their registration with a unique player number. Blackhawk's staff will be assigning jersey sweaters on the first day of tryouts.

For those players who are also trying out for the Gloucester Rangers, a full refund will be given for Blackhawks tryout fees if the player is selected by the Rangers.
